11th Annual Craft Marketplace - ​Saturday, September 17, 2022

The award-winning Craft Marketplace at Pennypacker Mills is held annually by the Friends of Pennypacker Mills.  2022 will be our 11th annual show.  This year, the event will take place on Saturday, September 17, 2022, on the grounds of the Mills located at 5 Haldeman Road in Schwenksville, PA from 9:30 AM to 3 PM.
     On this page you will find information about applying to participate in our show and some information about the crafters who will be attending.

For Visitors:
The Friends of Pennypacker Mills verifies each crafter's products to ensure each is hand crafted.   In order to serve a large audience, we do allow a variety of craft styles and prices.  From stocking stuffers to elegant jewelry and gifts, our Craft Marketplace is sure to please ​many shoppers.   Eighty or more crafters will attend the event, giving a wide range of products.   All proceeds go to benefit the Friends of Pennypacker Mills. 

​Additional information:

  • Entry to the site and parking are FREE!
  • Food vendor is available all day
  • Some vendors do take credit cards (but not all)
  • Mansion is available for FREE tours


For Crafters:​The Friends of Pennypacker Mills cordially invite you to participate in our eleventh annual Craft Marketplace at Pennypacker Mills. The event is to be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022, on the grounds of the Mills located at 5 Haldeman Road in Schwenksville, PA from 9:30 AM to 3 PM.


Since our inception in 2012 our following has grown considerably. Attendance in 2012 was 350 whereas last year, despite the pandemic, we had over 1600 customers. We have also increased our advertising costs to attract these customers.
Tents:

  • You can choose to provide your own 10' x 10' tent (encouraged); or
  • You can pay extra to reserve our tent space, which is limited to 25 spaces. We will provide two large tents which will accommodate six crafters each. We also have available a number of single tents. Once these tents are filled, there will be no more, so reserve EARLY!

Tables:

  • You can choose to provide your own table(s) (encouraged); or
  • You can pay extra to rent one or more of our tables, which are very limited in number. Once these tables are claimed, there will be no more, so reserve EARLY!

                                                    Availability of tents and tables is on a first-come, first-served basis.
                                                                        Everyone must provide their own chairs.
                                                                               Registration is non-refundable.

Under our tent:              $60
Your own tent:               $45
Tables:                            $  5 each
Friends members save $5 – check the box on the application to save $5 and become a Friend! If you are already a Friend, your membership will automatically renew and you will receive the $5 discount.


  • Coffee will be available at no charge – whether by voucher or at the Friends’ table will be determined by who our food vendor is.
  • We will be available to cover for you if you need a break. There are bathrooms in the brick building adjacent to the Craft Marketplace.
