The award-winning Craft Marketplace at Pennypacker Mills is held annually by the Friends of Pennypacker Mills. Since our first event in 2012 our following has grown considerably, and we have repeatedly won the Montco Happening List’s Best in Montco award. In our first year, we featured 33 artisans and had 350 visitors. Since then, we have grown to consistently fill our capacity of over 100 vendor spaces and attract more than 1,800 visitors. We receive enthusiastically positive feedback from both vendors and visitors.
For Visitors:
The Friends of Pennypacker Mills verify each crafter's work to ensure each item is hand crafted. In order to serve a large audience, we allow a variety of craft styles and price points. From stocking stuffers to elegant jewelry and gifts, our Craft Marketplace is sure to please many shoppers. About 105 crafters will occupy our 111 vendor spaces, providing a wide range of products. All proceeds are used by the Friends of Pennypacker Mills to support the Pennypacker Mills historic site (click hereto see what we do).
For Crafters:
The Friends of Pennypacker Mills cordially invite you to participate in our 15th Annual Craft Marketplace at Pennypacker Mills, to be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 5 Haldeman Road, Schwenksville from 9:30 AM to 3 PM.
During the event, we provide coffee to get you started in the morning, and coverage at your booth when you need a break. Restrooms are located in the building adjacent to the Craft Marketplace. The Fitzwater Station food truck also will be on site.
This is the Friends’ primary fundraising event. We are an all-volunteer organization, so except for a few very small administrative costs, all registration fees are used by the Friends of Pennypacker Mills to support the Pennypacker Mills historic site (click here to see what we do). We appreciate the support you provide by participating in our event.
We have 111 spaces to rent out on a first-come, first-served basis. We keep a waiting list, and we do call up quite a few folks from that list. Nevertheless, it is smart to sign up early as we usually sell out by March.
We have a few options:
Availability of tents and tables is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Everyone must provide their own chairs.
Registration is non-refundable.
| Pricing | |
|---|---|
| Space using your own tent | $50.00 |
| Space under our tent | $65.00 |
| One 8-foot able | $ 5.00 |
